Watson Mill Bridge State Park, near Comer in northeast Georgia, is home to the longest covered bridge in the state. I spent a weekend there running FT8 at 5 watts, and it turned into my biggest single activation: 144 QSOs.
Five watts went a long way. I made contacts on eight bands, from a single QSO on 160 meters up to 12 meters, with 20 meters doing the most work at 54 QSOs. Europe came through on 20, 30, and 40 meters, and the longest contact was in Bulgaria, about 5,400 miles away.
The video is QRP FT8 on 20 meters from this activation.
POTA credited 140 QSOs (Feb 11: 91, Feb 12: 49).
