The Georgia State Parks POTA event ran on April 1 and 2, 2023, and I spent it working my way across southwest Georgia. It started at Kolomoki Mounds State Park, near Blakely, home to Woodland-period Native American mounds.
I made 117 QSOs there between just after midnight on April 1 and the morning of April 2 (local time), with 40 meters doing the heavy lifting at 53 QSOs. This was one of the few activations where I ran 30 watts instead of QRP. Italy came through on 30 meters, with the longest contacts more than 5,200 miles away.
The next day I moved on to George T. Bagby, Providence Canyon, and F.D. Roosevelt State Parks, and activated Dowdell Knob, W4G/CE-004, from inside F.D. Roosevelt. My video Getting ready for the Georgia POTA Event April 1 & 2 shows the preparation.
POTA credited 113 QSOs (Apr 1: 76, Apr 2: 37).

Each line runs from the activation to the center of the other station's grid square, so it shows the direction and distance, not an exact location. One contact has no grid square in the log, so it isn't shown.
