I spent Christmas week of 2024 on St. George Island, on the Florida Gulf coast, and activated St. George Island State Park, US-0635, every day from December 23 to 28.
Christmas Day was the busiest, with 63 QSOs on six bands at 10 watts. 30 meters carried the most contacts, and 10 and 12 meters were wide open to Europe. The longest contact was in eastern Europe, about 5,500 miles away.
Because the park is on the island, the same QSOs also count for Islands on the Air, NA-085, and US Islands, FL007S. Across the week the island added up to 166 QSOs. The same trip also took in Box-R Wildlife Management Area, US-6293, on the mainland.
POTA credited 63 QSOs.

Each line runs from the activation to the center of the other station's grid square, so it shows the direction and distance, not an exact location. One contact has no grid square in the log, so it isn't shown.
